Kingston Design Showhouse
In working on the Kingston Design Showhouse, we were inspired by the Revolutionary War history of the area, particularly by the idea of people gathering with a sense of urgency and disquiet, but with a strong undercurrent for hope of the future, as what happened when Kingston burned and the locals decamped to Stone Ridge. We believe that spaces hold the energy and memories of events that occured in them. The invigorating colors and feeling of kinetic energy here are meant to convey the feeling that something big just happened in this room.
